The name ‘Luna’ (= moon) evokes the habit to savour this wine in a convivial atmosphere, during the beautiful moonlit nights in Salento characterized with a clear, starry sky. Each lunar phase is a magical moment of transition and the whole nature perceives this visceral force.

SOIL

Leverano: medium texture soil, some parts with ‘terra rossa’ (red soil) for the presence of iron oxides. This type of soil offers a balance of sand, silt and clay, facilitating water and nutrient retention and ensuring vines a constant supply of essential substances for their growth. In some areas of Leverano the presence of red soil is observed due to iron oxides. This feature enriches the complexity of the wines, as the minerals in the soil influence the aromatic profile and the wine structure, giving them unique notes.
